This lab course falls into the 'Q' slot of the curriculum, every Tuesday 2:00 pm onwards. In this course various experiments in relation with propulsion and combustion is performed in the Rockets and Missiles Lab of the department. The reports submitted on the experiments performed so far is listed below:

• Determining average particle size of Ammonium per chlorate (oxidizer) using projection microscope and digital image analyzer.

• Determination of propagation velocity of premixed flames and the height of a typical diffusion flame.

• Determining the calorific value of a propellant sample using bomb calorimeter and Beckmann's thermometer.
